Atsugi Naval Air Facility
Contact:Tom D. 080-3586-8879 DIRECTIONS AND ACCESS INFORMATION A visitor to any US military installation must have valid (up to date) proof of their status. Normally, that means a passport as it shows nationality. There are a number of nations whose citizens are not permitted onto US military installations. Mostly Middle Eastern, African and Easter European countries. A gaijin card is typically accepted but again, a valid, up to date passport is the sure-fire ID. As our primary audience is the military community on base, we cannot require members to sign people onto base for meetings, that is their individual prerogative. Many do sign in members they have met at other meetings, but total strangers is asking a lot, as the individual, not AA, is responsible for the visitor on base. My advice is to have people make contact well before 1700 to try and make our 1900 meetings. Our members finish work 1630-1800 and time is tight just trying to get themselves there.
