Meetings are held at Nishijin Catholic Church, Ichijoden-cho, Kamigyo-ku (on the west side of Shinmachi street between Ichijo and Imadegawa streets, north of the Brighton Hotel).  Don’t go into the church building, but follow the driveway on the right.  The meeting is in the three-story building in the rear, on the second floor.

BY TAXI

Don’t go into the church building, but follow the driveway on the right, to the parking area. The meeting is in the middle building, on the second floor.


BY SUBWAY

Ride the Kyoto City Subway Karasuma line to stop K06, Imadegawa. 
Go up the stairs at Exit 6.  Turn left (north) and walk to the intersection of Karasuma and Imadegawa streets.  Turn left and walk west along Imadegawa for about 4 minutes, to the second traffic signal, which is at Shinmachi Street (新町道).  There’s a Falafel Garden restaurant on the northwest corner.  Turn left and walk south along Shinmachi street for about 5 minutes.  The church is on the west side (right side) of Shinmachi street just north of the traffic light where there is 7/11 convenience store.  Don’t go into the church building, but follow the driveway on the right, to the parking area. The meeting is in the three-story building in the rear, on the second floor.


BY BUS

Ride Kyoto City bus #59, #201 or #203 to the Imadegawa Shinmachi stop (between Karasuma Imadegawa and Horikawa Imadegawa).  There is a traffic signal at the corner of Imadegawa and Shinmachi (新町道) streets, and a Falafel Garden restaurant on the northwest corner. 
Walk south along Shinmachi street for about 3 minutes.  The church is on the west side (right side) of Shinmachi street just north of a traffic signal, beyond which is a 7/11 convenience store.  Don’t go into the church building, but follow the driveway on the right. OR

Ride Kyoto City bus #9 or #12 to the Ichijo-Modoribashi stop, which is on Horikawa street.  Just south of the bus stop is the traffic light where Ichijo street crosses Horikawa.  Walk east (across a bridge over a small canal) on Ichijo street for about five minutes, to a traffic light.  This is Shinmachi street.  Turn left.  The church is just ahead on the left.  Don’t go into the church building, but follow the driveway on the right, to the parking area. The meeting is in the three-story building in the rear, on the second floor.
