DIRECTIONS AND ACCESS INFORMATION

LINES, STATIONS, AND EXITS:

Yamanote Line and several other lines, Shinjuku Station, West (Nishi) Exit

Address: Courtyard of the Mitsui Building, 2-1-1 Nishi Shinjuku

Go to JR Shinjuku Station (JR Yamanote Line plus many other train and subway lines), take the West Exit toward Nishi Shinjuku, the Skyscraper District and the Tokyo Government buildings. Once you go out the ticket wicket, walk straight ahead to where you will see a taxi roundabout. En route there, you will pass a JR ticket counter on the right, and a police box (koban) also on the right. When you get near the taxis, veer to your right a little, but then keep going straight in roughly the same direction as before. You will be in an underground passage. Stay on the left side of the passageway. There is an opportunity to go right, but don't do that until you come to a big mosaic of an eye. Just past that, turn right. You are still in an underground passageway. There will be a McDonald's on your right side just after the turn. Keep going straight, all the way to the end. There is another opportunity to turn right into the Shinjuku Center Building, but don't do that. Just keep going straight to the light at the end of the tunnel. When you come out, you will be near the Mitsui Building. Go up the stairs to your right, and then immediately down some more stairs. You will see an open courtyard below. 1. West Exit of Shinjuku Station.

2. The West ticket wicket. It is a huge station!

3. Go straight ahead until you see this taxi roundabout.

4. Veer a little bit to your right at that point.

5. Then keep going straight. Stay on the left side of the passageway

6. Turn right just after this artwork.

7. Shortly after you turn you will see a McDonalds.

8. You are now in this underground passageway. Go all the way to the end.

9. There will be a couple of opportunities to go right into the Shinjuku Center Building, but don't do that.

10. At the end of the tunnel you will be here. Go up the stairs to the right.

11. Then, go down the stairs just past the green, red, and yellow sculpture.

12. The meeting is held in this courtyard in good weather.
